Charles Probst Memorial Fund (501c3)

The Charles Probst Memorial Fund is dedicated to honoring the life, passion, and outdoor legacy of Charles Probst by supporting meaningful programs that promote education, conservation, and participation in the outdoors to help further the outdoor traditions.

Mission Statement

The Charles Probst Memorial Fund exists to:

  • Support outdoor education and training opportunities
  • Provide scholarships for wildlife and trapping education programs
  • Promote hunter safety and responsible outdoor participation
  • Contribute to conservation and public land appreciation projects
  • Preserve and continue outdoor traditions for future generations

All proceeds from memorial items and contributions directly benefit the fund’s mission of furthering outdoor opportunities for individuals who share a commitment to wildlife, conservation, and traditional outdoor skills.

We sincerely thank everyone who supports this mission in honor of Charles Probst and the values he carried throughout his life in the outdoors.

2025 Outreach Projects

The fund has helped make several impactful contributions, including:

  • A standing telescope was donated to Little Pine State Park at Eagle Landing
  • A full scholarship was awarded to FTA Trapper’s College
  • Five 410ga. / 20ga. shotguns were donated to Pennsylvania Game Commission Hunter Safety course participants


2026 Outreach Projects

including:

  • A full scholarship was awarded to FTA Trapper’s College
  • North American Trapper .177 Air Rifles were donated to Pennsylvania Game Commission Hunter Safety course participants
  • A $3,000 scholarship is being awarded to an individual through the Mansfield University Foundation
