Cold Creek Logwood Dye

The Cold Creek fine red powder turns black in water and will clean and dye any steel traps that carry a coat of rust to a dark black color. Powder is added to boiling water and traps are allowed to simmer for about an hour.  One package will dye 4-5 dozen traps.

HOW TO: Add 1 pound of dye to each 5 gallons of boiling water and simmer your equipment for about one hour. Keep traps completely covered and add water during boiling process. Remove traps and hang to dry. Once dried, traps and equipment is ready to be used.  This product can be used on all traps.  (*One pound of dye needed for every 36 traps)
